Affiliate Program

Hi

I am already have Hikashop Essential and might I add, it is an excellent product, I am considering upgrading to Business, but first I have a question

I have spent the past few hour playing around on the demo site and paging through the forum, but I can't seem to find the answer I am looking for.

With the affiliate program is it possible to set it up in such a way that if a customer comes to my site via an affiliate link and registers on the site record is kept of which affiliate referred them. The affiliate then earns commission on all future purchases.

What I basically want is the following

X introduces Y to my site who then registers
as a result X now earns lets say 5% commission from every future purchase Y makes regardless of whether Y is linked though to the site via X's link in future

Even better, would it be possible to set it up so that if Y then introduces Z, Y gets 5% commission and X gets 1% commission

Just one more question about this though, to get the affiliation program going I am wanting to run a competition, is there any way I can see exactly how many people each affiliate has introduced to the Site.
