Display->View = i dont see code of the php files.

OK.... this is my foult
im templating joomla/k2 and others component but in Hika is something diffrent - maybe better
I use some Hika template php files to templatefolder/html/com_hikashop/ wich is bad because i didnt know that if i do this on display->view option the code will be updated? or something like that.
So i uinstalll hika/ delete com_hikashop folder in /mytemplate/html/, instal old 2.2.3 version and i wanna to copy and paste my templating php code to hika->display->view option php items = to override some files.
And when i go to display view option, i see all the files, but when i click to one of them i see nothnig. only name of the file and white space when the code must be.

It works. i must disabled some editors plugin.
One questiion is that true that code get updated when i edit code in display>view mode?

Hi,
By updating HikaShop you won't loose any information. It will just update the files and add new columns in the database if required.
Your views overrides, css overrides, language, configuration, orders, products will stay intact.

But careful if you have modified directly an HikaShop file and you didn't use the backend interface for that. Because you could loose your modifications.

Making a backup is always a good security.
