Joomla updater not finding my valid licence

In my Joomla 2.5 extension manager, it shows a new update to Hikashop (version 2.0), however it also says "We did not find a license attached to your website www.domain ..."

Yet, when i go to my subscriptions on Hikashop.com i have a valid business subscription for that domain name.

Is this a bug? will it upgrade correctly if i click to update via the joomla backend?

Yes, you can update via the joomla installer instead of the joomla updater and it will work the same.

In the joomla updater, the information is cached so it's possible that it's why it can't find your license. Try to purge the cache of the updater and that might help remove the error message.

yes i already tried purging the cache, but error regarding licence remained.

maybe there is an issue with your code checking with licence on the hikashop.com website

Even I got the same issue, after updating it to the latest version.

In the components, it is showing the latest version but in the Extension Manager-> Manage, it is showing the older version and date.

@woonydanny - Do you face any problem in the file download?

@manjeshmohan the version was not correct in the XML of the package. It's now fixed and if you download and update again that should remove the issue.

@woonydanny that is a problem with your hosting which doesn't allow you to download files from your server. Just download the package via the Update/About us menu of HikaShop and install it via the joomla installer.

I also get the error when trying to create a cron job

The web cron is a service we propose to our subscribers based on the website attached to their subscription.
You do not seem to have an available subscription for the website domain.com.au

how do i fix this? what do i have to do on my hosting arrangement?

That means that the subscription for that website is not correct in our database. Can you give the URL of the website ?

this is the correct url.

just clicked on edit cron again and saw that the url in the message doesnt have the www - does this make a difference? I have it set so that it should always redirect to the site with www

For some strange reasons, your website had been registered several times on our end and only one of the entries had the subscription attached to it. I've changed that so it should work now. Please try again.

We are having the same problem with updating to version 2.0 . We are getting the same errors. We tried everything you suggested to woonydanny and still the problem persists.

Any thoughts.

I apologize for the mix up.

Our web site is the compmnistry.org however the account is registered to missioncentral.org. Mission Central is the main organization while the Computer Ministry is an organization within Mission Central. We made the change to our account and we were now able to update to Hikashop 2.0 using the Joomla 2.5.8 updater.

The order number you gave me, is a "created" order but I found another order for the account, with a license attached.
The license for "compministry" is fixed.

Hey

I use this tread because I have the same problem.. All the caches have been deleted more than once.. the shop is not on my account here, but its on bestoil.dk.
Is it possible to change the url in the admin backend?
The reason for the fail is that we have made it on another host, and then moved the site with akeeba backup..


I'm using firebug, forumsearch, dokumentation and then I ask.. It's so easy ;)

With this account, you would be able to change the domain for your licenses using the dedicated page : www.hikashop.com/en/account/your-subscriptions.html

I had now logged in, and the site on "sune" is correct, its the one that we are using hikashop at.

But in my backend there is still a wrong URL in the hover box, on the description link..


I'm using firebug, forumsearch, dokumentation and then I ask.. It's so easy ;)
