My client wants to do the following:

1) Whenever she adds a new product, she wants the product thumbnail to be displayed in the first position at the top of the products listing page rather than be added to the end of the product thumbnails. Is there a setting that can be changed or code added to make this happen?

2) She wants to be able to sell some products on Amazon. Is it possible on the products listing page to click a thumbnail, link over to an Amazon page that describes the product and do the checkout for that product on Amazon?

1/ In your products listing menu/module's hikashop options, you should change the ordering direction to descending instead of ascending and it will work. You can access these options via the menus Display->Content menus/modules.

2/ You could add the url of your product on amazon in the URL option of your products.
