After Order: Could not instaniate mail function

after the order is completed, I get the error message:

Could not instaniate mail function

System mails from Joomla are sent, and the customer also receives a confirmation mail. However, no info mail is sent to the admin that an order has been placed.

Also at this point the question of whether the admin information that an order has been placed can also be sent to a different email address. If so, what is the attitude towards this?

was able to solve it myself. I closed + save + re-enter + save the recipient email. Now it's working again.
