hikashop order status not updating correctly

Hi ive not managed to work out whats happening but hikashop isnt updating order status properly. We have a single method of payment through paypal. Has anyone else had this problem? Thoughts re "when" order status isnt being updated properly??

Hi,

It can happen for several reasons that the status is not updated. Here is a list of possibilities for PayPal :

Hi all,

Is this a bug?

Order statuses => create a new status

Existing:

created
confirmed
cancelled
refunded
shipped

I make a new Order statuses => Example ... Paid
in this Exaple you have a Field name: parent category... select => confirmed ..... after safe this.

This new Orderstatus Name "Paid" is not visible.
- no way to delete it anymore

But in configuration => Order => you can select this new Order Status

How can you delete this order status?
Also in Hikashop Demo Backend have the same problem.

Hi,

When you create an order status you should not change his parent category.
We will see to change that in a future release ; the fact that you can see the parent category is a side effect of some previous patches.
If you have created a incorrect value ; you should edit it directly in the database or using a mass-action.
