Hi,

We choose paypal check out only.
Once the order has been placed and customer fill in all data in paypal.
Then we are awaiting for paypal approval and clear the payment to us.

During that period of time, is the customer:
1. Can or cannot modify his order?
2. Can he cancel the order at their "User control panel" by viewing his order?

Because I have find the "Cancal" button in user control panel of the View your orders section.
Is this "Cancal" button working at any time or not?

Thanks in advance!
Jade

Hi,

1. Orders cannot be changed by the user. He can only create them and pay them.

2.He can also cancel them if you authorize him to do so with the option "Cancellable orders statuses" of the configuration.

The cancel button on the order details page is actually to go back to the orders listing. The nam eof the button is actually "back" and not "cancel".

Cancelled order statuses : When an order has its status changed to one of those statuses, the quantities of products in it are restored.
Cancellable orders statuses : If you enter order statuses in that field, for all the orders with one of these statuses, a "cancel" button will be displayed on the orders listing of your customers on the front end. That will enable them to cancel their orders and you will be notified by email when that happens. Please note that payments won't be cancelled by that process so you will have to decide what to do.
