Hi,

We're using Hikashop Business on Joomla 1.7.3. I created a new Order in the backend and used the add (just add) button to add a new line to the product list. After saving the new line, a message shows up in the Files column of the product-list, stating:

'imagename.jpg'/Order status does not permit download / Until the 12 February 2012 23:17 / 50 downloads left

the imagename.jpg is familiar from an existing product, but it's not a new product.

Checked:
Re-saved the productimage and the product again, to make sure nothing was 'checked out' somehow.
Cleared cache
Changed order status to 'Confirmed', no change
This message is showing on all items I add manually (not picked)

This is the first time I add a new line this way, so I don't know if it ever worked fine...

Any ideas on what more I can check?

Thanks

Hi,

I'm not sure. Are you use the "add" or the "add an existing product" button ?
It might be that there is a file saved int he hikashop_file table without a product id (file_ref_id) set and that you're using the "add" button to add the product which thus doesn't has a product id. That would mean that it's jus that the query loading the files should be done a bit differently to not have that problem.
Could you search for the entries with the name imagename.jpg in the table hikashop_file in your phpmyadmin and export these entries so that we can see if it's really that problem.

I used the 'Add' button.

And yes I think you found the problem! In the first entry the file_ref_id is set to 0. The second one I believe is correct.

FILE_ID;FILE_NAME;FILE_DESCRIPTION;FILE_PATH;FILE_TYPE;FILE_REF_ID;FILE_FREE_DOWNLOAD
533;imagename.jpg;file;0;0
534;imagename.jpg;product;552;0

There's a total of 11 entries with a file_ref_id set to 0. 1 them is of the file file_type, the others are 'product'.

Should they all be deleted? Or just the 'file' one?

You should delete them yes as they are not used anyway.

Indeed, that solved the problem.

Thanks again for your swift feedback!
