Images in Cart during Checkout

I have just purchased the business edition and I am setting up our site. Whilst testing. I created a product with a size and colour characteristic.

In the cart I selected Navy Blue Size 87 and a White 87. (the same product id)

However the images displayed in the cart were White 87 and White 87. So if I turn on show images in the cart, it displays only the first (or default image). If my customer has selected one white and one navy of the same product they see the same colour image in the cart not the different colour images.

This would be confusing to my customer. Instead of seeing one navy and one white image they see both white. They may think they have made a mistake.
