I have a product ID 165.

If I list the products, I see only 1, but if I search for its name, the same product, with the same ID is listed twice.

That's possible if you have your product in several categories I think. The system will display one line for the product for each category.

But that makes the AJAX work buggy.

E.g.

I click on the publish/publish icon of the bottom product and it changes the upper ( 1st) match.

Ok, we've changed that for next version.

We've posted a beta today with that fix. Can you check that it changes that for you too ?

I know that this is an old thread, but I have the same case here in the back-end

Joomla 3.5.1
Hikashop 2.6.3

When I have a product in several categories. The system display one line for the product for each category. But only when I search for the product.

If I only have a product in one category it display on one line when I search for it.

Is this a standard function ?

I only noticed this after I updated from Hikashop 2.6.1 to 2.6.3.

Hello,

Can you add a screenshot, because I'm not sure to understand the situation when you mean "in the back-end".

Awaiting news from you.

Regards

Hi,

We've had to change the MySQL to load the ordering value so that changing the order of products in leaf categories is now possible even in "all sub elements" mode.
I've adjusted the code again to avoid that problem with the product displaying potentially several times in the listing.
You can download again the 2.6.3 install package and install it on your website and that should fix that issue.

Hello,
I have the same problem as river above. Products that are in multiple categories appear as many times in the administrator product listing (back-end).

I have downloaded and installed the latest versions (business 2.6.4 and multivendor 1.7.2) but it is still the same.

Hi,

We've just added a patch for that. Download again the 2.6.4 of HikaShop and install it on your website and that will fix that.

Hello Nicolas and thank you for the reply.

Would it be possible for me to just over overwrite the file or files that handle that problem from the new version to my Hikashop installation? If not, could I perhaps make the modification to the query myself with your guidance?

I am hoping to avoid the update, as we have made several modifications and however good we have them tracked we are sure to miss a few when we update...

We have HikaShop 2.6.3 and HikaMarket 1.7.2

Hi,

You can try. It's the file administrator/components/com_hikashop/views/product/view.html.php that you can replace with the file back/views/product/view.html.php coming from the install package.
