Hikashop 2.1.0 stable
Business edition
...

We have created an associated module for one of our content menus.

In this case our Content menu is : "Tampers 53mm" and our associated module is : "Module for Tampers 53" ( see attachment scr_01.gif ).

We assign "Module for Taampers" to a module position and publish.

We expect to see the module appear after our "Tampers 53" product list.

It appears at the end of the main product list and a SECOND time in the module position specified.

Assignment in the module position is as expected, but none of the products shown are from the associated module's associated category.

In this case the associated category is : "60 VST Filter Baskets" ( see attachment scr_02.gif ).

The second screenshot shows publishing set to false, and it shows the front-end printing out products of which none are from the associated category. They are either duplicates of the main product list or random from other categories.

Hi,

Thanks to post the 1st screenshot.
It's displayed twice probably because you are using the option "module under the product page" in Congif > Main > Products.
The module displayed is probably not the associated one, because the associated modules are generally not published.

So you have to check if the good module is published in the good position.

Thanks Xavier,

From info found here:
www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...op-modules-form.html

I understood that I could assign an associated module with associated category/s to a module position. So I do not quite understand when you say, "because the associated modules are generally not published"

Is there another documentation link we can read to clarify ?

p.s.

"Module for Tampers 53" ( I think screenshot 1 was missing - see now ) has an Associated module. And it does publish ... but not the products from the assigned category.

Here is some documentation:
www.hikashop.com/fr/support/documentatio...splay-front-end.html

The associated module is here to display the products from the menu. The menu only display the categories.
So if you set a position to the associated module and you publish it, it will display the product listing twice.

Hope this will help you.
