delette button not working

Hi, i have the Hikashop 2.1.3 module running on my Joomla 2.5 and eveything was running ok. However today i was adding some new products and when i checked on the front end, the small x delete button on the shopping cart had stopped working. I mean, it still deletes the product from the cart but it doesn't redirect appropriately. Thanks

Uploading your Hikashop to the last version will maybe fix your issue, so can you do it ?

The latest version today is : 2.2.0

It's probably a javascript error.

Hi there,

Do you have something set in this option of the configuration (System>Configuration>Main>Cart) "URL where to redirect when the cart is empty"?
If so, try to leave it empty, and if it's already empty, you can try to set a specific page.

It is empty, just checked. However, as i stated before, it was working until a couple of days ago. I don't want to send it to a specific page, i want it to erase the product from the cart but continue on the same page it currently is.

The redirect when emptying the cart takes to the address " artduqc.com/artduqc/artists/bashar-shbib...rage-de-dent-colonel "
In this url, "artduqc/" should not be there. I think that it's due to a previous configuration which has not been changed.

Your website were probably in the folder "artduqc" before.
You have to change the setting of website url in Joomla.

just checked the configuration.php and i havent't changed it in ages. the $live_site variable is blank. And the site has always been in the /artduqc folder in the ftp server. Should i reinstall the plug-in?

Are you using any SEF module ? if yes can you disable it and try it again ?

not that i know of. Had the Redirect Manager and System - SEF deactivated and reactivated and nothing...

Hi,

You can use the contact form or use the private message system.
Under the profile avatar (and the number of message) you will see a little "message" icon which will allow you to send a private message to another user.
( Please note that during the week end, some people of the support team are not available. )

Unfortunately, we didn't get your FTP account. So I couldn't check the configuration or do extensive testing.
Instead, I've made a small customization of the file "cart" of the view "product" via Display>Views to make sure that the link is correct.
