I had a site set up with Hikashop and it was testing well on a subdomain of my own server.
Now that it is live at the client's address, and now that I have changed the PayPal Pro plugin from Sandbox to Production (and entered the client's PayPal information) none of the orders go through. Instead we get this error. 15008 and a message that the items in the cart don't match what PayPal gets sent.
In other posts I found some references to this issue, but no relevant solutions, other than someone's suggestion that the ordering of the elements in the Checkout may affect things. Here is what we have:
Step 1 - Cart and T&Conditions
Step 2 - Login and Address (login div is hidden - we want all sales as guests)
Step 3 - Shipping Method (Canada Post only)
Step 4 - Cart Status and Payment
The Cart Status is in the final step, so the customer can see the tax (based on shipping address) and shipping (before tax) itemized before they enter their card details. Is this creating shipping as a separate item?
Also, I noticed that the cart module does not alter its total as the cart adds tax and shipping. Is this something to be concerned about?
Suggestions for solutions please!!! The client is getting impatient that their site is working fine, except the bit we tested thoroughly before we went live. Ideally, I need a solution for this by Monday.
