Yes we should be on time, but it will depends on how the beta testing period is proceeding.

Sure, the PayPal Plus payment plugin is working fine in sandbox mode and we are now working with a customer who is directly testing it for us in production mode, but it's taking some times as we can't test it ourselves in production mode.

We are also working on the plugin code optimization and on the creation of new features to create a better usability and user experience.

The fact that we can't directly test in production mode is delaying the release but the main part of the plugin is already developed.

We already have a first version but we're working on the plugin code optimization and on the creation of new features to create a better usability and user experience.

We are waiting for a return from our client who's actually testing the last PayPal plus plugin version, so we'll probably release a first version after few weeks.

What's left to do is :
- Sending more order's information to the PayPal platform to provide a better user/merchant experience
- Storing & Displaying information about the PayPal plus service chosen by customers but also "Pay by invoice" service information.

Hello,

Just to keep you updated, we now properly :
- Send information like your customer billing address and your website's used language to the Paypal platform
- Handle the return of customers who used the PayPal "Cancel" button.

We also improved the way payment notification are handled.

What's left to do is :
- Storing & Displaying information about the PayPal plus service chosen by customers but also "Pay by invoice" service information.
- Correctly test and handle the "Pay upon invoice" and "debit card" services which are not usable in our end so we are having one of our customer test it for us, which is really helpful but is taking some time as we can't directly test end debug it.

Hello Peteo,

Yes, even when setting the "showPuiOnSandbox" parameter to "TRUE" the Pay upon invoice service isn't available on our end, so we are testing it with one of our customer.

Regarding the "debit card" service, we just asked our client if he could share with us his sandbox "debit card" details.

So we'll keep on improving the PayPal Plus payment plugin so that we can complete it as soon as possible !

We are sorry for the inconvenience, A lot happened since the estimation of the release date for the end of October, the PayPal Plus documentation isn't that clear so we had to do a lot of research to properly have the information we needed.

After a lot of testing we were able to properly display ELV and Pay Upon invoice services and test it, we now :
- Correctly store payment instructions from the "Pay Upon Invoice" service and display it through the back-end order page details
- Have a "log" system so that you'll have more information about every transaction if there's an issue (it will enable us to correctly debug your website if you have an issue, and also have details about what's sent and received from PayPal)

What's left to do is :
- Display a special thank you page for the "Pay Upon Invoice" service so that customers will be able to see payment instruction
- Optimize some part of the code
- Send that last version to our customer so that he can properly test it.

Again, we'll keep on improving the PayPal Plus payment plugin so that we can complete it as soon as possible !
