No invoice number recorded when using eSelect/Moneris payment plugin

-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : no error message

When using the HikaShop eSelect/Moneris payment plugin

Order number is recorded bu
Invoice Number is NOT recorded

Please advise.

Hi,

The invoice number will be generated based on how you configured the order statuses in the menu System>Order statuses.
So I would recommend to check that area.
If you don't find the problem, please provide a screenshot of the System>Order statuses listing and one of the settings of your payment method so that we can better understand the situation and tell you what to do.

I forgot to mention that when a different payment plugin is used the invoice number is generated.

Hello Nicolas,
I checked the settings- please see screen shots.
The setting to trigger the invoice creation is set to on "Confirmed" in the STATUSES

Verified status in the plugin is also set to "Confirmed"



I can see I could trigger an invoice creation when the order is "created" but would prefer not to do this.

So far, we don't understand how this is possible and so, we will need more elements to progress on your subject.
And so, can you tell us if your order created with eSelect/Moneris is automatically mute to "confirmed", or you have mute manually its ?...

Can you provide via our Contact us form, a backend access (with the full access), don't forget to add to your message an address url link to this topic in order to keep the link.

The status of Orders created and paid via eSelect/Moneris are automatically set by the plugin to 'confirmed'- you can see this setting in the above image.
I will have to get approval from the client to provide admin access to you - please stand by.

Hello Philippe,
I have duplicated the site for testing and have changed the eSelect/Moneris plugin to use the sandbox. I also had to revert the settings on the Order Statuses back to create invoice on Confirmation.

Then I created an order using sandbox mode + dummy credit card from moneris and it appears to work now as ?!!
I changed (and reset) the Order Statuses to create the invoice# a few a times, maybe this action fixed the issue?

I will have the client do a real transaction now to test.

Hello,

Great if now everything works as expected ! Even if we can not say that this is our suggestions which is helped...
Now, some theory and idea, of course updated php 7.4 may solved this (and many other issue), and sometime move settings AND save again sometimes can unblock issue, by reformatting settings database.
