Dear Forum Members,

im new here and was just wondering if there was any way for me to display multiple products from different categories on a single page with quantity field next to each product and a single add to cart button?

Here is an example of what I am looking to accomplish : direct.yesvideo.com/order/entry

If you look at the sample you will see a list of different products with a quantity field and a single add to cart all the way at the bottom of the page.

I have created my own page but I have add to cart for every single product and would rather have it look as in example above.

Please advise if you have any suggestions.

Thanks in advance for your support!

Hi,

Yes, that's possible. You can change the option "Display the quantity field on the product page" to "Global on listings" in the configuration and you'll get something similar on your products listings. And if you want the listings to be grouped per category, you can edit your products listing menu via the menu Display>Content menus and change the "sub element filter" to "group by category".

Thanks Nicolas,

I have done as you suggested as you can view my page here: dmmem.com/index.php?option=com_hikashop&...t=listing&Itemid=170

However, how do I only show 1 add to cart at the bottom that takes all the quantities selected?

Thanks

Hi,

That's what the choice "Global on listings" of the option "Display the quantity field on the product page" is for.
If you don't see that, it means that you probably overrode an old version of one of the view files which handle the products listing display via the menu Display>Views. So you should check on that and maybe remove your customization to apply it to the new version of the view file.
