Hi,

1. Is there a better way to sort products - I went to my products and chose the dropdowns: Published / Products / Direct sub elements.

I can sort them by clicking arrows - but a drag and drop option would be really appreciated or at least the option to add a number and then hit save and the product will be placed in the number you selected and the one in that position will be put down by 1. Right now I have to click those arrows - and ok I only have 15 products but imagine somebody wants to order the products with loads of products - a nightmare...

Anyway maybe that exists already but I cannot find it...

2. In my Hikashop > Documentation > Update / About it says: You have the latest stable version of HikaShop Essential: 2.4.0 - BUT here in the Forum it says: Your HikaShop version is not up to date. Thanks to update it before posting your question.

So what now? Is it up to date or not?

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

1. Next to the arrows, there is an input text with the ordering number of the products. You can directly change the numbers there and hit the save button next to the "order" title at the top and it will save the new ordering. It should actually be even faster than a drag & drop feature.

2. It's not. The latest stable version of HikaShop is the 2.4.0 but the latest version is the 2.5.0 that we released a week ago. We're still waiting for enough feedbacks on it before activating the automatic update for the 2.5.0 which is why your HikaShop is still saying that you have the latest version.

Hi,
I just cannot find the save button on the top (see attachment). I thought it might be a browser visualization problem, but it is the same situation on chrome as well as on firefox.
So if I have to reorder the list I only can use the arrows, spending a lot of time.
Can you please help?
Thanks in advance

You can order by adding numbers in the fields.

After that click in the little box with one arrow up and the other arrow down (next to ordinamento) to save the order - if you scroll over it it also says save order.

But a drag and drop is still on my wishlist too :woohoo:

Thanks, I realized what was the issue: in italian, the label aside the arrows button was too long ("ordinamento"): it covered the button so that it could not be clicked (a css problem). I shortened the label in the language file and I solved the problem.
Bye
Marco
