Add address form does not work

Hi, I am using the Essentials version of Hika Shop. When you try to place an order for a product and it goes to the shopping cart page, it asks you to either log in or register. By selecting either option, a pop up window appears with an address form. When you complete this form and submit it, is is meant to close the window and populate the address details in the shopping cart form. It does not do this, instead the popup window stays open. If you close it the data is lost and it still asks you to add an address.

It seems to be a bug rather than any configuration issues. Can someone assist urgently please?

Can you please :

- Active the joomla debug mode ("Administration->Global configuration->System->Debug System/Language")
- Set the "error reporting" option of the joomla configuration to "maximum"
- Try to add an address after loging in
- Tell me if it display an error message

I have done as you suggested and the issue is unchanged, except now there are two * before and after every heading on the page, for example, the price instead of just being the price, is now displayed as ****??PRICE_BEGINNING_0??NZD58.00 ** each**??PRICE_ENDING_0??****

The problem of the address not being updated is still there

Any advise?

Can you try it again while unpublish the address_street2 custom field at "Hikashop->Display->Costumfields" ?

Does this mean that there is a bug with the Address 2 field, and I cannot use it? Will this be fixed at some stage so it can be used?

There is indeed a bug with it. It should be fixed in next version.
You can just create another field in order to do the same.
