Number of sold products in a certain period

Hi,

Is it possible to make a report of the number of sold products in a certain period within certain catagories.
i.e. When I have the catagories DVD, CD and BLUE RAY, I like to see how many CD's I've sold per month, per week or per year. (only the shipped and confirmed orders).

I'm also loooking for an easy option to create a list of all the sold products in a certain period. (Which titles of DVD's did I sell in March).

In my shop, I sell music and I like to create a list of all the sold titles per month or per year. How can I do that without restrictions of the number of items?

You can create a listing which shows the most sold product. To do so, create a report with the diplay type listing, on the period you want. Then, select the type "product" and choose "sales" for display informations. Take a look at the screenshot to make sure you got it correctly!

It is just a little bit of what I like. This list is limited to 50 products, but I like to have a compete list with number of times that the products have been sold.
In my case (selling music) I need a list to tell the copyright organisation which titles I've sold. But in other situations a similar list can be useful.
A report function would be nice, but an export function (to csv or xls) will be nice as well. As long as I can create a list of the sold products in a year or a month or another defined period.

Hope it is possible or that this function will be added in a future update.

Actually I just realized that if you select "Orders" instead of "Sales" it will give you the number of item sold. So it should display waht you're looking for! Also, you can change the "limit" field to display more items.
About the csv export, well, it's already available! Just look at the top of the page and you'll see the export button.

YES, YES and another YES!
On the screen the list is limited to a maximum of 50, that was one of reasons that it was not exactly what I was looking for. The Export function did not work last week, but now it does (I don't know why).
But now the export function works and I see that that list is not limited, I'm very happy!
The suggestion to change Sales to Orders was also a great suggestion!

One little thing...
When I choose to display (or export) the orders of last year, everything seems to be okay, but when I choose to display this year (just a month in this case at this moment), the list is too long. I think that not this year is displayed, but from one year ago until now.
I solved this by choosing the date from 2014-01-01 00:00 to 2014-12-31 23:59.
Maybe this can be improved (or the translation to Dutch is not right)...

About the "this year" thing, it actually display the last 365 days.
You're not the first complaining about that so I am going to add a real "this year" option in the dropdown and rename this one to "last 365 days". It will be included in the next release.

I just did the modification, if you don't want to wait for the release (which should be next week) I can give you the code (2 files have to be edited).
