User Registration not working

I am just about done my site and ran into my final problem, I'm hoping someone can help.

When a user registers on the checkout page after adding products, nothing happends and user gets redirected to home page. When the user tries to login it says that "Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet."
and then it says "please create or select an address"

What am I doing wrong, I looked through the documentation and coulndn't find anything. I also tried disabling registration completely and it still requires user to login. Is there a way around that as well?

I am using Joomla 1.5 and HikaShop latest stable version : 1.5.0
Would it help if I gave you a login? I'm not even sure where to start with this. The regular login does work, not the one within Hikashop. Does that mean anything?

Same problem here.

Using Joomla 1.5 / Latest Hikashop Release 1.5.0.

Neither can people register with/without ordering.

I'm not 100% sure, but I realized that since the new release update I have got 2 Plugins called "HikaShop user synchronization plugin", right? They are almost identical, one has type 'user' (> hikashop.php) , the other type 'system' (> hikashopuser.php). Should both be activated, or just one?!

I guess the answer to my problem is that my template's index.php file is missing the <jdoc:include type="message" /> tag. Thus communication user<>website is rather restricted (in fact user have to guess what happens... ).

I know this is a Joomla not Hikashop issue, and as it is a free template, access to the file is denied.

So in conclusion I'm stuck, but thx anyway, Nicolas, for your help.

Old problem, but situation the same. Registration just doesn't work. I put products to cart -> checkout and it asks me to login or create a new user. I put all new user details, and try to register, but nothing happens and message says login or create an account or "Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet." What shoul i do?

I also has this problem! And I got it after updating to 3.2, is there a solution?
