Hi,
I'm getting an error that appears to be preventing the checkout process:-

/administrator/components/com_hikashop/classes/currency.php on line 1527

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Derek

Hi,

It is not an error but a warning. It has not impact except this warning message displayed by PHP.
In production, it is highly recommended to hide the PHP warnings message.
But we would fix this warning in the next package.

Thanks for that, was in debug mode thats why it was showing up.

Still can't finish the checkout process though, would you be able to have a look at my workflow?

Cheers,

Derek

Hi,

Please deactivate the "advance checkout workflow" in order to check that you have the right "confirm" step.
If not, please redownload hikashop in order to fix the problem (you would have to modify your checkout workflow with the advance checkout workflow in order to add the "confirm" step in the right place).

The end of the checkout workflow should be something like: _confirm,end

login_address_shipping_payment_coupon_terms_fields_cart_status_confirm,end

Thats the workflow at present, disabled the advanced workflow to no avail. Re-installed and still the same issue, checkout can not be completed.

Hi,

There is a problem with the "confirm" step. We would require a ftp access in order to add some debug traces and check which element return a "false" which cancel the order creation.

Hi,

I don't know where you sent the FTP details but we have no records of that on our end.

However, one thing you could try would be to turn off the "Detailed tax display" option of the configuration. You most likely don't need it and the issue seems to be related to that. I would recommend to give that a try.

Detailed tax display was not turned on.
I've deleted all custom views, still no finish to the checkout!
Please email me a contact where I can send the ftp details.

Hi,

I made a lot of checks and I found that your database as been modified.
There is not more unique id in the table order, and the auto increment should be gone too.

Have you modified something in your database ?

I haven't deleted any hikashop items in the tables, the server was offline for emergency repairs a few weeks ago, could that have affected the database?
How can I fix the missing items?

Cheers

I added auto increment to _hikashop_order - order_id and the checkout process appears to be working now. Where would the unique id be located that is also an issue?

Cheers,

Derek

The order_id column should be auto_increment AND the primary key (thus unique) of the table.

Man y thanks, I ended up deleting that table and recreating with the sql query from the downloaded package. All appears to be working well now. Setting up the customization's for the products tomorrow.

I've found some interesting tools to help with custom modules, will share with the community when finished.

All the best,
