Hello,

we will use the below weight of consignment for an eshop

1-10kg cost 6 euros

11-20kg cost 8 euros

21-100 add per kg 0.50 euros

101kg plus add per kg 0.60 euros

for the categories 1-10kg and 11-20kg its ok the system is clear

do you have a suggestion how i can implent the spipping methods for categories 21-100 and 101 plus ?

i want to avoid to create every category for every kg from 21 to 100 and we dont know how many kg is the "plus" for the category 101-plus

please advice

Hi,

My solution would be to set the weight of all of your products to 1 Kg, and to use the "Price per product" option of your shipping method to 0.5.

how do you think about that ? could you be more specific ?

for example if a product is 26 kg. we have to charge 23 euros.

with your formala will cost 13 euros.

Hi, it was just an exemple and I just wanted you to use the "price per product" option which would be easier than adding all your shipping method for each 0,5Kg. So I think that the best solution would be to do it through your phpmyadmin.

My bad I misunderstood what you really wanted, what you want to do is creating :
- more than 80 shipping methods for products with a weight between 1 and 100Kg
- And infinite number of shipping methods for products which weigh more that 100Kg

So I don't think that this is possible without :

- The use of the "Price per product" option
OR
- Some customization of the manual shipping plugin which would require some PHP knowledge.
