The version of the 28 September is the latest one. So it doesn't come from that.
I still think that the problem is that your currency is not setup properly. Could you do a screenshot of the options of the currency or provide a backend access to your website so that we can look at your settings ?
Also, please note that at this time PayPal Pro will only work with merchants from the US, Canada, and the UK. I see that you're using the AUD currency so it means that you're probably in Australia and so you should not be able to use PayPal Pro, regardless of your currency settings. Note that this is a limitation of PayPal, not of HikaShop. So if that's indeed the case, and knowing that you have a short deadline, I would recommend to use PayPal Standard for now.
