Order Creation Email with 2 Tax Lines

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.5
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.10
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Google Chrome 40.0.2214.94

Is anyone else using TaxCloud find that their Order Creation Email to customers are displaying 2 tax lines.? One is TaxCloud calculated, the other is always $0. I see references to discount_tax and shipping_tax in the order_creation_notification.preload.php file. Could one of the line items in the attached image be one of those?

I really need someone's assistance.

Apologies, Ann again..

When I look at the details of the orders that I am creating, there are 2 Tax Lines listed in the Additional Information section, so this may not be an email issue at all.

And another thing, once the order is changed to a "shipped" status, both lines disappear and the tax line in the email notification is not visible. Strange.

Please let me know how I can get you to log in and look around.

Hi,

Like I told you in the other thread ( www.hikashop.com/forum/taxes/875051-taxcloud-and-taxes.html ), TaxCloud is overriding the all HikaShop tax system when the user is in the US.
So I think that the plugin is providing a 0% tax ; like that it will be complicated to told you from where this line is coming from.
We will need more details about your configuration in order to reproduce your issue.

Another solution will be to activate temporally the debug mode in the plugin (by editing it and modifying the line)

protected $debug = false;
So you will have some debug traces ; seeing what data are sent to TaxCloud and what TaxCloud is replying.
