We are not able to reproduce your issue in our test website or in the demo website.
Can you please confirm that you're using the latest available package (HikaShop 2.6.3) ?
You can use your browser debug tool in order to see the content of the ajax call.
Thanks to that, it would be possible to understand what data the "namebox" received and if there is some PHP warning or PHP errors which break the json data.
