Hikari means "light" in Japanese. Hika is just the contraction of that word.

While HikaShop may have started out as a "Light" eCommerce solution, I'd say it has matured into a pretty comprehensive program at this point! :)

Nicolas and company have done a great job since first introduction only a year or so ago.

i think that it is a ray of sun in the darkness of the e-commerce for joomla...
