In any version of Hikashop, can you set a price based on a minimum quantity in a category?

Example: Category SUBSCRIPTIONS with these CHARACTERISTICS: TYPE and YEAR

If they buy a SUBSCRIPTION that is ONLINE for the year 2013 that is $118.
If they buy a second year that is ONLINE for 2012 that would be $113.
Any subsequent year would also show a $5 discount.

We are using the Starter Edition. I can do this per product, but have been unsuccessful making it work for a CATEGORY. I know I can add the products in the SUBSCRIPTION category for 2-Year Subscriptions, 3-Year, etc as we did in ZenCart. But would like to avoid that if possible.

Any suggestion? Thanks!

Hi,

By using the coupons instead of the discounts, you will have mode options, like "Minimum number of products" to limit the coupon to minimum 2 products in the cart, you can enable the "Auto load in cart if possible", and you can apply it to products only with the option "Coupon percentage applies to product only"

I don't see the mode options in the Starter Edition.

Which edition do I need to accomplish this, Essential or Business?
