The 4.4.0 is here, and its main characteristic is: the comptability with Joomla 4 ! And, as with each release,
this one also comes with many new features & improvements.

We've been working on this new release for 5 months while usually, a new release goes out between 2 to 3 months after the previous one. The delay is explained by all the work we did to modify HikaShop to make it work on Joomla 4 and test that everything is still working fine and displaying fine on all the versions of Joomla.
On top of the compatibility with Joomla 4, we've also added many other improvments and new features. We'll present here the main ones:
Previously, in the Joomla module configuration backend (content => site modules), when you were configuring your HikaShop filter module, you had a button to select the filters to be displayed by the module, and that button would open a popup to select the filters.
We now have a nice selector, similar to the one we use in other places to select products, categories, etc.
Sometimes when you have to manage your e-commerce, it's great to be able to do it anytime from your smartphone. But as some of you noticed, when you have many different settings on a little screen it can quickly become a chore...
That's why we working hard over the years to make all the different parts of HikaShop responsive, so that not only the frontend areas display well on mobile devices, but the backend interfaces too.
The latest addition to that goal is the improvment we made in this release to the category tree explorer you see on the left of the listing of products and categories in the backend.
The point of the modification is to not have to scroll unnecessarily above it to access the listing when you're on a smartphone.
Before HikaShop 4.4.0, the Fields option of the HikaShop products search plugin also seriously needed some improvements to be easier to use.
That's why we add a nice selector for it, like for the filters selection in the HikaShop filter module, so that you can now easily select which elements will be used in the Joomla search process.
