On January 11 2016, we released a new version of HikaShop.
That release provide 65 bug fixes, 33 improvements and 16 new features.

What's new?

New popup library: Vex

In the HikaShop configuration, for the setting Popup mode, you previously have the choice between Mootools and Bootstrap.
Vex is a new choice for the popup mode and will solve a lot of different issues.
That open source javascript library uses jQuery and should work with every template and Joomla versions (1.5, 2.5, 3.x).
If you are not using Joomla 3 or your template is not compatible with Bootstrap ; Vex is a good solution in order to stop using Mootools.

Joomla 3.4.4 - 3.4.8 have an issue with the bootstrap popup and can generates javascript issues.
The official patch is ready but it has not been include in Joomla release yet.
By using Vex ; you will avoid that possible javascript problem.

CSS modifications

If you are using a custom version of the HikaShop CSS ; you can have some side effect.
With next HikaShop release ; we will highly reduce that kind of problem by a new organization in the CSS files.

Modification in the vote CSS

The HikaShop vote system is using new CSS rules ; that modification allow you to easily change the images.
It will also allow in the future to have specific images for specific votes.
You can find the content of the required CSS for the vote in that forum thread.

Vote stars not showing ?

More than the CSS issue, this can be an override issue.
If you have old override on the views "vote / mini" and "vote / form", so the stars could be not displayed correctly.
Please do a backup of your views, and remove the overrides to get the latest version of the files.
