Applying discounts based on qty purchased?

We'll look at that on monday as we are not available this week end.
Regarding the qty based coupon, if you set a product restriction it will be of that product. Bt if you don't, it will be three products in the cart

Hi Nicolas, hopefully you will get a chance to look at it today.

So, if the discount is set to a category, and the discount is set at 3 products min, then that means both 3 of the same product and 3 different products and any combinations of the two would get the discount?

Hi,

I looked at that and the problem seems to come from the fact that your products have characteristics.
Please change the file administrator/components/com_hikashop/classes/discount.php by the one in the archive enclosed and that should fix the problem.

I was able to login AND finish the checkout on your website. I just placed an order as you can see and it worked great.

Weird, thanks for that, can you lastly confirm the question of the auto coupons being on per items basis, so 3 of the same item works the same as 3 different items to trigger the discount?

Yes, that's how it should be if you select a category and not a product (also note that I deactivated the auto load option of the coupon you had while testing so you might want to reactivate it once you put the new file)

Hi

OK, I updated that file, turned on the autoload option.

Added 3 of the same card, went to checkout, no discount was applied.

I tried to create a new user account, filled all fields in, and I get: Please create or select an address

I tried logging in with my admin account, I get: Please create or select an address

This is in firefox, and this is the only hika shop I have had this issue? Suggestions?

OK, weird, now it works. No idea.

So I am logged into the checkout, added a shipping address fine.

But, still no discount applied, 3 of the same product in the card.

Also, I just noticed, I went to change the qty in checkout from 3 to 4, but hit delete by mistake. No biggie, went back to the product and added 4, on the popup, I said proceed to checkout, where it then said I had 7 in the cart.

So I now also added 1 of each of 2 other products from the category the coupon applies to.

Still no discount applied.

One last thing I just tried, was I removed the characteristics from the product, removed it from the cart, re-added 3 of them, and made no difference to discount being applied.

I don't see why that would happen. We don't have the problem on our end. could you provide an FTP access so that we can put traces in the code to see what's going on ?
