keep the credit card input on the screen by defaul

When you check out and you have paypal and pay bycredit card method for payments... by default the Credit Card boxes do not show up on the screen until you choose it and hit next which makes it seem to the customer that they never left that screen. So how do you get it to show

o Paypal

o Pay By Credit Card

Credit Card Number ____________________
Exp Date _____________________
Card Validation Code __________________

To all be on the same creen?


Second Question when you are on the check out page and add a second address to have items shipped to then the screen shows the following error (See Attachment) and when you close the screen it does not show the new address unless you refresh the page so the customer is going to keep hitting New New New and get very frustrated..

You apparently have javascript errors on your pages leading to these problems.
Can you give a link to the shop so that we can see that ?

I can see that you have the jquery js library loaded on your website. It indeed comes from that as far as I can see.
Could you try to install and publish the jquery easy plugin of joomla which often helps solve these problems.

Can you try to switch temporarily your template to another to see if you still have the problem ?

I tried again the popup address creation but I didn't get any error today. Did you change something ? Do you still have the problem ? What if you try with another browser ?

changed the template to a joomla original one and still the CC information does not show on the first screen. It shows for just a fraction of a second and disapears. Please let me know when I can change back to our original template. Well I changed it to the default beez template and still same problem.

OK the Credit Card window now shows up. But if you go to set a diffrent shipping address it looks like the image attached to this message:

I still see the same problem with the credit card form and the address form is not showing that error.
Did you revert that change ?

It would have helped to see the error directly on your website in order to understand what is happening.

Go to the website and place an order for this test item: childrenstoystoystoys.com/index.php/all-.../category_pathway-34

Click proced to check out. Enter your address and info and click "Continue To Payment"

On this next screen uncheck the box that says Shipping Address - Use the Same... and enter a new shiping address and that error comes up and you actually have to refresh the page to see that you did choose a new shipping address. this will confuse customers.

I'm using chrome. Do you have the problem with Chrome ? What browser and what version are you using ?

Can you edit the file components/com_hikashop/controllers/address.php and change the line:
echo '<html><head><script type="text/javascript">parent.window.location.href=\''.$url.'\';</script></head><body></body></html>';

to:
echo '<html><head><script type="text/javascript">window.parent.location.href=\''.$url.'\';</script></head><body></body></html>';

Then try again.

That sounds like the modification you made broke the file. Can you double check it ?

The modification was done correctly.
So I don't know why you get that blank popup.
If you revert your changes do you still get the blank popup ?
In that case, could you try to set the "error reporting" option of the configuration of joomla to "maximum" and try again ? That might display an error message in the popup.
