Hi Nicolas,
I bought HikaShop Business thinking on HikaMarket upgrade in near future and to have one unique strong eCommerce solution on my portal for all my customers/needs, one unique statistic solution etc etc.
I Thought to be able to manage Subscriptions through the Akeeba Subscription plugin (Subscription is one of the most important feature in an ACL portal, may be one of the most reached feature).
I was wrong.

I discovered HikaShop mainly allows me to sell tangible goods. What you do with Akeeba Subscription integration is that when I buy a specific product the plugin kicks in and creates a subscription record in Akeeba Subscriptions. It allow me to sell tangible good and subscriptions through the same component (HikaShop) without going through Akeeba Subscriptions.

But I also discovered that MijoShop does ship a plugin / integration which presents itself as an Akeeba Subscriptions payment plugin. Here clients complete the subscription process through Akeeba Subscriptions but instead of being redirected to, let's say, PayPal they are instead redirected to MijoShop which handles the payment based on the price reported by Akeeba Subscriptions (therefore, the price which takes into account coupon codes, upgrade rules, tax rules and whatnot).

Do you know that integrations ?
How to have the same thing on HikaShop ?

Is an Akeeba Subscription development that is not planned in HikaShop ?
Otherwise, Is there any HikaShop developer who can quantify feasibility, cost and time?

hi, today try use hika free + akeeba but have few problems or something wrong understand:

- enable akeeba plugin
- create subs lvl in akeeba
- set this sub to product and set price zero
1) situation user dont have any subs and try buy product, on main page of the site user see product and try buy it, but when he buy this product see message: Warning: Division by zero in /home/virtwww/test_site/http/plugins/hikashop/akeebasubs/akeebasubs.php on line 158
after that user have ACTIVE subs without any pay.
2) if in this product was some download file after deleting subs in akeeba user still have access to this file (i think access must be closed after that its like expired subs)
3) in product order not add subs lvl price (when must subs payment activated?)

i think it must look like that - user wanna buy some product but when he press buy he redirect to page where he must choose subs lvl and pay it (because he dont have subs) or this subs lvl price add to current order of the product.

I have not tested the subscriptions for free products. I was not thinking about this use case.

The file access has not been managed with the subscriptions. The way it's working is, an order is created, then we use that main order to create the orders of the recurring, if the subscription is cancelled, the created order has the status cancelled, but it don't change the status of the main order, so the downloads are still available.

I have added it on our todo list. The previous cases will be corrected.

The customer can't select the subscription level, you have to set it to the product.
If you want to let them select a level, you can use the variants, and set a different subscription level on the variants.

yes i know about that i mean if customer buy product wich have subs lvl he paid only for this product and after that customer have automatically activated subs in akeeba because order confirmed (tested with free and bank transfer payment) this is wrong.

i know i can use acl and "hide" product but its not always good choice for some sites

Hi,

For the downloads, you have to set a download validity period, set this value to the same time than the subscription.
By this way, when a subscription is canceled the customer can no more download, and if it's confirmed, the downloads are renewed.

For the subscriptions, you have to set a price to your product, it's this price which is used for the subscription price.

you mean in first customer must paid subs after that he can buy this product with that price? but in this case problem because product visible in shop and any user can buy his without subs or i something wrong understand how it must work:)

1. You configure a subscription in the akeeba component, to set the period.
2. In the product page, you select the level of the subscription. A product with a level is a recurring product.
3. When a customer bought it, he will pay it any xx times (depending of the configuration in akeeba) the same price.

The subscription allow to pay a product each xx times, for example you subscribe to a magazine, so you pay each months the magazine price to receive this magazine.

tnx, now understand. i think this example be good in description because some people like me read manual on akeeba site about restriction for articles\categories and think wrong how it must work.
