Hello,

How do I make a range filter, but not a select dropdownlist and NOT the slider, but simply 2 input text fields into which you put in a price (between price x and y)

So if I have a product that costs 199, I want to be able to put in price between 100 and 200, and get that product to display.

Thanks

Hi,

It's not possible to make a range filter with input fields.

Hi Xavier,

Well that's quite a bummer!

Any plans for incorporating that? It's pretty useful.

I know I can make a select list with prices but it's not the same, you never know what the customer is thinking.

For this kind of selection there is the cursors which allow the customer to choose any price range.
Why you don't want to use them ?

To use two custom fields it will require some custom code. So php knowledges.
It's actually not on our TODO list because it's not requested by the other users.

OK.

I don't want to use range slider because it is tedious and not precise, but it is good that it exists.

Requested by other users or not, range via user text input should exist as a filter option IMO.
