Hi,

You should see it via the Joomla plugin manager under the name:

HikaShop Microdata on Product Page plugin

Hi,

The plugin is present for both editions and you can find it via the Joomla plugins manager under the "system" group. So it must have been removed from your website if you don't see it. Install again the HikaShop install package on the website and that will add it back in that case

FYI I don't believe it is called that any longer. I have Joomla 3.3 and HS Business 2.3.2 and have been looking for it as well.

The system plugin that the demo has is named "HikaShop Microdata on Product Page plugin" but the actual file is hikashopproducttag and on my system that plug-in file is named "Hikashop Product Tag "

Hi,

That's why, but it depends which element installed it.
In the HikaShop installer, the associated title for the plugin is "HikaShop Microdata on Product Page plugin", so if HikaShop installed the plugin, the name will be that. But if joomla install it or do some modification using the XML, you're right, the title will be different.
But it's not link to the Joomla version or the HikaShop edition.

I'm sorry, but that statement doesn't make any sense to me. There is only one plugin with this file named as such and this is the same file and manifest in your compnent's package. The only place the description of "...microdata..." is referenced is in an Update routine of your installer. on three test/development systems I have and our production server, they are all the same. And what other component would install a plugin named "hikashopproducttag"?

Hello,
Thanks for your feedback :), note that if you want to change the name of the microdata plugin, you still can edit the xml file of your plugin, and then uninstall/reinstall the plugin.

Hello good day.
Webmaster Tools Google say my page contains no microdata.
I have enabled the HikaShop Microdata on Product Page plugin plugin, but the error continues. What I can do to fix the problem?

Hi,

The Google Webmaster Tools won't be able to tell you that instantaneously that the microdata has been added. It needs to reindex the pages and it can take some time.

Please provide a link to such product page and we can check for you if the microdata has been added or not to the page.

Hi,

I do see the microdata attributes on that page: take.ms/4Cv8N
So Google should see it too once it (re)index that page.

Hi.
Google says there is one error: "No author"
I do not know how to solve that problem.
At the "head" of the web www.hermanosgaliano.es I have put Author: Hermanos Galiano .
This parameter appears on every page, but Google indicates error.
Thanks.

Hi,

For the Author issue, you should have name present in the listing of the comments.
Do you have any views overrides on the view "vote / listing" ?

Please give us a backend and an FTP access to your website via our contact form in order to solve that issue.
Don't forget to give the url to that topic in the message :)

Hi,

I have added modifications in the microdata plugin in order to handle the "author" tag.
But in your case, on that page for example: www.hermanosgaliano.es/producto/papel-siliconado-para-hornear
There is no username present, so do you have edited the view "vote / listing" ? I tried on my local and the username is displayed everytime with any configurations of the votes.

This could be due to another thing, do you have deleted any users which could have passed a review ?

Hi,

The thing is that I try to understand why there is no name displayed for the first comment of the product in the given link.
I was not able to reproduce this issue on my end, even if I try with all the possible way of adding a comment.

So that's why I was asking if the customer account used to add this comment had been deleted, that would have been an explanation of why there is no data present in this comment.

About the view edition, I don't had an answer about that, do you have edited the view "vote / listing" ? Could you provide a backend access to your website beside the FTP one ?

Hi .
Yes , the first comment was made by a test user . That user was eliminated.
Now users can leave comments without being registered.
We have not published / edited any list.
The FTP account is activated.
You can use it.
Thanks.
