Payment Express: Banks No Longer Support PX POST

The banks in New Zealand no longer support the PX POST method for Payment Express payments.
They will not approve any new Payment Express accounts that still use PX POST (even though we are using SSL).

PX POST is the only method that the Hikashop Payment Express payment module is currently using.

The ONLY accepted methods at this point are:

  • PX PAY (XML Interface)
  • PX FUSION

Any ideas when either of these two methods will be available?
My client purchased a website with the sole reason of me being able to provide a Payment Express interface.

Awkward. :unsure:

Hi,

There is no such plan in the short term. I added that to the todo list but they don't make it easy on us... If all the payment platforms were doing that we wouldn't be able to move forward at all.
We can potentially develop that payment API for you as a custom project (you can use our contact form to request a quote if you're interested), or you can have it developed by a third party developer (we have a developer documentation available for that).

It is the banks who are dictating the requirements, unfortunately.

I will ask Payment Express New Zealand if they are willing to cover the costs involved in creating a module.

Thank you.

UPDATE:
Australian Banks are denying Payment Express PX Post too.

0DECLINED The transaction was Declined (U5) :dry:

*are there any other idea's for Nz Transactions aside from Paypal for CreditCard transactions?

is there something in the pipeline for this to be sorted as Payment Express is NewZealands main trusted Payment Gateway?

Kind Regards

Reace.

Hi,

We have a PxPay plugin which has been updated to the new payment system.
This plugin is currently in beta, we didn't have feedback for the moment.

Hi,

I don't understand your message.
The plugin is a classical Joomla plugin. You have to install it in the joomla plugin manager.
After that, you will be able to create a new payment configuration in HikaShop (System > payment methods > New) and select this "px post" plugin.

Hi

class plgHikashoppaymentPxpay extends hikashopPaymentPlugin
{
	var $accepted_currencies = array(
		'AUD','HKD','SGD','BND','INR','THB','CAD','JPY','TOP','CHF','KWD','USD','EUR','MYR','VUV','FJD','NZD','WST','FRF','PGK','ZAR','GBP'
	);
I see NZD in the list so it should be listed.
Can you please provide a screenshot of you payment plugin listing (in the hikashop backend).

Thanks

Hi,

Can you re-download the plugin in the post : www.hikashop.com/forum/2-general-talk-ab...-px-post.html#123746
I updated the file manually in order to add some checks.

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks.
I will update the zip file as possible. But you can edit the pxpay.php file and replace the line 40

<EmailAddress>'.$user->user_email.'</EmailAddress>
By
<EmailAddress>'.$this->user->user_email.'</EmailAddress>
and it will fix the problem.

Hi

I checked it , it doesn't give any message any more so this is good news,
but it try to send the information and then it say invalid key, I will send the debug details as pm,

there is no place to put the credit card details, so I think this is why it's giving this message....

Hi,

This PxPost plugin does not ask for the credit card in the HikaShop website.
The user is redirected to the Payment Express platform with a special generated token. Thanks to the token, Payment Express can know the order total, the currency, the store user id, etc.

But the user has to enter his credit card information in the PxPost page.

If you have an invalid key message, it seams that your credentials are not right.
You can use the test credentials given in the PXPay documentation:
www.paymentexpress.com/Downloads/DPSECOM_PXPay.aspx/

another thing , it made the order just after redirecting to dps , but I think I can change this through the checkout process right ?
