Hi there,

I was hoping to have the login and the hikashop registration forms on one page by inserting them in an article, but the registration form is a plugin. Is there a way that I can do this? The page set-up would look something like this:

<div class="row login-register">
<div class="col-sm-6">Login Here {loadmoduleid 16}</div>
<div class="col-sm-6">Register Here {hikashop-registration-form-here}</div>
</div>

Thanks!

Hi,

Create a menu item of the type HikaShop user registration, and configure the login module to be displayed for that menu item in the position you want and you'll have both on the same page.

A component view cannot be added elsewhere easily in Joomla. This extension does it but only on Joomla 3 :
regularlabs.com/componentsanywhere

Hi there,

I got this working but I have an issue and I don't know if it's related to this set-up or Joomla?

If I enter the wrong login credentials, it takes me to the bottom of the home page. I was expecting that it would remain on the same page on a failed login.

For example, if this is the login page URL:
www.mywebsite.com/login-or-register.html

If the login fails the URL changes to this and it takes me to the home page.
www.mywebsite.com/component/users/login.html?Itemid=310

I can provide the URL of the site if you would like but I'd have to do so privately.

Thanks!

Hi,

From the URLs you're using it doesn't seem you're using HikaShop for your registration page but Joomla. In that case, that would be something to ask about on forum.joomla.org
Or you could use the HikaShop registration page instead, as I was saying in my previous message here.

Please provide the URL via our contact form so that we can look at the situation:

Hi Nicolas,

I sent the URL via the contact form.

Also, I am using HikaShop for my registration page.

Thanks!

Hi,

Ok, thanks.
From what I can see it's an issue many others have with the Joomla login module:
forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?t=990299
I would recommend following what they talk about to try and come up with one which works for you.
