Products on Category Menu Disappeared

-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.5
-- PHP version -- : 5.5

Hello, we have products below our categories before and now they disappeared, we need to fix this asap please assist us we don't know why this happened, we emptied the trash with old content mudels and this happens.

Hi,

If you're using HikaShop 2.6 with Joomla 3.x ; there is no more "menu / module" in HikaShop part, all is now accessible in the Joomla menu configuration.
And when you edit a "category listing" menu ; you will have two tabs in the Joomla menu edition, one for the category listing and another for the product listing which will be display just below the categories.

If you empty the trash with old content modules ; it means that your current category listing menu has not been migrate to the new system (because HikaShop have a retro-compatibility support).
So you need to edit your category listing menu and set the all configuration for the category listing and the product listing too.

Hello,

Yes, i have tried editing everything but nothing helps, I tried all the product and category options, nothing helps.

All the products from all categories disappeared

Please assist me with this issue, cant seem to understand how to fix it by myself.

Hi,

I don't see a problem with your screenshots.
Can you try to delete that menu item and recreate it via the Joomla menu manager with the same settings ?
Maybe that will help.

If i Delete the menu won't that ruin the SEO? and the prodcuts links will get ruined?

Hi,

No. As long as you recreate the menu item with the same alias, that's not a problem since the link will be the same.

Well, i don't see why it wouldn't work with these settings and that version of HikaShop.
Could you provide a backend and a FTP access via our contact form so that we could check on the issue on your website ?

Hello,

I have restored a backup and everything works now since i still have the assoicated modules in the trash. The problem is that now i updated to the new hikashop and it doesn't show products when i make a new category listing menu, so i have to use the products listing menu which works. How can i make the categories listing menu work on the new hikashop. If i delete the associated modules from trash then all the products will disappear again on the old categories lisitng menus.

Also "hikashop hidden menus" keep generating by themselves, why is that? I need this issue fixed, please help.

Also sometimes when i open my old category listing menus a message pops up saying something like "please backup your stuff, there is an overide"

I'm having the exact same issue
this is the third update in a row that i have to keep coming here and post for help.
Now all my category display are only showing 1 or no items.

i did try recreating the menu and setting it up as best as i could, but nothing changed

Please download again the install package of HikaShop on our website and install it on yours in order to get all the latest patches for the current release. That should help.

Hi, that did not work
it's showing the products but it does not display any of the category at all
i went into the setting and made sure under "category options" the correct category is selected but it still shows the products on that page rather than the categories.

I want to be able to create new category menus which will show products, not empty pages. and also i need the old category menus to show the products if i empty the associated modules from the trash.

Please let me know before if any update needs to be done since the site is live.
