-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.richardbennett.com.au/index.php/hika...r-categories-listing
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.7
-- PHP version -- : 5.4
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : firefox
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Warning

Error loading component: 280, Component not found.

(i have also noticed that this is preventing the customized text i have been displaying underneath each product by altering the show_default.php file in view - the text still exists - just does not show up)

Hi Hikashop,
i have just updated Hikashop to 2.6 and am having trouble with a couple of things.

1. i get the following warning on every page of the store

Error loading component: 280, Component not found.

2. How do i stop my sidebar menu displaying the words
No subcategories
(was not their prior to update - although i have been trying to fix it

look forward to some help with this
;-)

Hi,

1. Could you try to re-install HikaShop ? And try to to disable HikaShop modules one by one to see if it come from there ?

2. You can do a translation override on the key: HIKA_LISTING_LIST_EMPTY

Thanks Alex,
i couldn't find a plug in that caused the warning and I didn't understand your second step!

I have restored the site and will try again (perhaps taking a copy offline - I thought it would just be the usual single click but it looks a little more problematic than that?

Thanks for you time

Hi,

Alex ?

You should have something wrong with your configuration because that's not possible that a component have a name like "280". A Joomla component should start with "com_", like "com_hikashop" or "com_content".
More than that, I don't understand what you have that error as a warning when that message is an error and should generate a 500 page.
But in every case, it is not something related to HikaShop because there is no code in HikaShop which will try to use Joomla to load another component. HikaShop can load modules, but it does not load components.

Afterwards, it could be related to a view override or to a plugin or module.

Hi,

we got exactly the same error as iwallace after updating to Hikashop Business 2.6.1 today. Every page on our website now displays the alert "Warning: Error during loading of component: 110, Component not found"

We did not change anything to our website, only update Hikashop from 2.6.0 to 2.6.1. The warning shows up on every page, even Joomla article pages. We've tried disabling plugins, menu's, putting our webshop offline, but the warning does not disappear.

With regard to Jerome's reply above, we know we do not have a component with name or ID "110", however the first item in the automatically generated "Hikashop default menus" has an ID of 110, which we do not think is coincidence. We tried updating a much older local version of our webshop, where we also get the warning messages but with number 105, corresponding also with the first item in our Hikashop default menus on our local website. Would you have any idea what could be causing this error?

For now we reinstalled Hikashop 2.6.0, any help would be highly appreciated.

@iwallace: did you find any cause or solution for the error you also received?

Thanks very much.

hi, we had the same problem which the Hikashop 2.6.1 update. missing component 323 ???. That doesn't exist at all.
It cost me relative much time and i put back my "back-up" Hikashop website that was problem loss! For a shop you can't present to the customers such error signal on the pages!

I think its a Hikashop problem and wait until a new update version.

best regards Marius

Hi,

See : www.hikashop.com/forum/install-update/88...upgraded.html#226422
If you have useful information to indicate the problem in HikaShop or to let us reproduce the issue in our local websites (or demo websites) ; feel free to share it (but not here, in the other thread)
