Russian translation. Let's talk how to translate

I suppose that here is the thread for Russian speaking community of Hikashop.
Some words are not clearly translated and other words are not clear to understand.

Let's talk here in Russian and English to help Hikashop became better!

Давайте здесь обсуждать проблемы перевода на русский. Предлагаю термины обсуждать и утверждать здесь, а потом включать в перевод, чтобы не получилось разногласий.

Начать предлагаю с перевода "Views" = "Просмотры"

Мне кажется что более понятным и адекватным было бы "Views"="Шаблоны"

I want that Russians can talk about translating some words.
Some of them need to be discussed before translated.

One of this words is "Views" this is not "Просмотры" (it's mean to look) but I think that is more close to "Шаблоны" (templates)

So I want that other Russian people can say their opinions.

Мне кажется что более понятным и адекватным было бы "Views"="Шаблоны"

- это будет НЕ правильным тк во-первых искажается перевод до не узнаваемости и во-вторых если параметр "Views" будет использоваться также как и нейм те подставляться в разные области сайта то пойдут косяки,с переводом если не ошибаюсь то первым будет количество просмотров какойто позиции, сори занимаюcь интеграцией в свой сайт другого модуля, хикашоп пока не слишком хорошо просмотрел

Что касается перевода слова Views, то даже сам Nicolas признал что адекватным будет перевод именно "Шаблоны". Но уж никак не "Просмотры", что не имеет никакого отношения к этому. Я думаю, что если бы вы хоть частично ознакомились к концепцией Hikashop, то не говорили бы таких вещей.Если возникнут разночтения с переводом в разных местах, то вполне можно попросить создателей Hikashop и они внесут необходимые изменения, как это уже делалось не раз (например, чтобы поиск адекватно работал в русском языке).
Здесь очень хорошая техподдержка и поэтому все проблемы можно решить. Однако дискуссию по существу я принимаю и готов обсуждать. Главное чтобы перевод был правильным и понятным. Иногда для этого приходится некоторые термины переводить не совсем буквально. Да и еще учитывайте - они японцы и сами переводят свои термины на английский язык, и надо заметить, что не всегда удачно. Так что перевод усложняется вдвойне.

When I install Russian language in the language manager of hikashop it has empty string as a name of language file as opposed to English file.

yes, this is not so critical but it is a pity....

1) in last version not translated Manufacturers - Производители
2) will be better and logical right if Шаблоны - Редактор шаблонов
3) in custom fields not logical translate for column Заказ - Порядок much better
4) in custom fields: not find in language file original text: Пользовательская часть сайта, Форма административной части сайта, Регистрация для административной части сайта - needs shorter variants for translate very width columns
not upload pictures if they have cyrillic symbols - not critical usually forget it - cyrilic big evil
and little more questions - why:
no option multiupload pictures?
no restriction for letters in phone field needs insert small code

not upload pictures if they have cyrillic symbols - this is not problem of translation. This is problem of the hosting. Usually they don't working with unicode symbols. If your hosting working with unicode correctly so hikashop will upload pics with russian letters.

Manufactures - Поставщики ?

Поставщики = something like vendors\retails
Производители = Manufacturers and its right translate..

For the translation, if someone could summarize the changes once you decided what should be best and send them, that would be easier.

About letters in the phone numbers.
No, we have not any letters in phone numbers, only digits.
master_b say that will be more helpful to restrict input fields so that customers could not accidentally input letters in phone numbers.
