HikaSerial 1.0 released

The first version of HikaSerial is now released.



Sell some unique data with HikaShop:
  • Software licences
  • Activation code
  • Seat number
  • SIM number
  • Text, Article, poem, etc
Use some plugins to:
  • Override serial display in emails and website
  • Generate some HikaShop coupons
  • Dynamic generation of serials
  • Unique file attachment
  • External serial generation (using web-services or other)

This sounds great!

Could it be used to generate gift certificate numbers for a client?
and if so,

would there be/is there an easy/pretty backend interface to view said gift certificate numbers?

Hi,

Yes, HikaSerial could be use for a gift certificate number generator.
There are several different ways to implement it because you can generate your numbers and import them, you can use a plugin generator (in order to populate the database or generate dynamically certificate each time a product is bought).
HikaSerial is very flexible, like HikaShop !

HikaSerial 1.1.0 would be released soon.

New features for this release:

  • Interface for the plugin system in the backend.
  • Plugin: Random Generator
  • Plugin: Coupon Generator

The Random Generator and the Coupon Generator would allow you to specify the serial format.
