Hi,

You can use the import to do that.
By using the text box instead of the upload of a csv file, you can enter several serial numbers in the same time.

Hi,

It is working good in the demo website and in my local websites.
Please install the latest HikaSerial package, go in the import page and force the refresh of the page (or clean your browser cache).
There was a javascript error which does not display/hide the text area when you changed the import mode.

i tried :
1) import as text : the text panel shows but when i click import i have an error message:
PACK_IMPORT_ERROR_NO_PACK_SPECIFIED
but i specified the pack in the lines as:"pack name","serial number" for each line
2) import as csv with the same lines specification:
i have the message :
24 serials imported
but nothing in the serial list (same as before)

please fix that.

Hi,

Can you please provide me an example of what's you are trying to import ?
When you import as text, does the option "import as csv" is set as "yes" and the pack one to "all packs" ?

I am sorry but I can't reproduce you problem in my local websites or in the demo website.
I need more information

1)i'm importing text like that:
(the pack "Imson 1" is already created)
i put that in the text field:
"Imson 1","0000-EG25-PQ28"
"Imson 1","0000-F2D3-OOH2"
"Imson 1","0000-E4R9-VV54"
"Imson 1","0000-M7A3-IPS8"
"Imson 1","0000-KX43-DNC3"
"Imson 1","0000-XV91-95A6"
"Imson 1","0000-F6U6-MJW1"
"Imson 1","0000-KP99-UMG5"
"Imson 1","0000-G7A6-EIB7"
"Imson 1","0000-FKD3-OUL3"
"Imson 1","0000-3Q24-42R6"
"Imson 1","0000-LS61-PJ98"
"Imson 1","0000-PG38-0N62"
"Imson 1","0000-WGP1-FCP7"
"Imson 1","0000-EC21-AUF1"
"Imson 1","0000-MOR1-KXW4"
"Imson 1","0000-E4H8-0G64"
"Imson 1","0000-DXM5-0279"
"Imson 1","0000-8AU3-MR48"
"Imson 1","0000-DL64-MMH7"
"Imson 1","0000-LP89-IDO1"
"Imson 1","0000-56K4-KLC8"
"Imson 1","0000-W0R5-EA74"
"Imson 1","0000-7DR2-1KT5"
"Imson 1","0000-8S66-3MD2"
then i click import : now i don't have the error message i have the other message : "24 serials imported" but they don't appear in the serial list

2)when using import csv :
i still have the messsage "24 serials imported" but nothing in the serial list.

Hi,

You have 25 lines but 24 serials imported.
The first line is the header. It gives information for the import. You have to keep the original header otherwise HikaSerial will try to import your serials using the first line as the header, so with very strange import rules.

okay i see

i have to let the first line as is:
pack_name,serial_data
then add datas under that

thanks for all it works.

just a small notice : when importing it says : "25 serials imported" but there are only 24 serials imported (as the first line is the compiler command)
