Ok thanks to Jerome, HikaSerial is up and running. I've been testing the ticket output on my Android Phone. My client in the field uses an iPhone to scan with, and oddly enough that only comes back with a Serial Invalid. Seems to work fine with the Android.

I've used a couple of different scanners on my iPad, with the same result.

Any thoughts or comments.

Hi,

Some QRcode scanner have a "feature" which check if the url is valid.
It means that the software will call the url it self, so the serial will be consumed before clicking on the link.

In android it can be the same, I know that the software "Barcode Scanner" can have this option (you can activate/deactivate it if you want).
It might be the same in iPhone/iPad.

With the next HikaSerial release (1.8.2) the consume part will have new feature to not confirm the serial automatically.
HikaSerial will display a confirmation page instead and the user have to click on the button to process the consumption.

The development is done ; we are making some tests before the release.
