Hi

I want to make some raffle tickets to sell second hand goods. For example, I want sell a backpack for $50, then 50 raffle tickets will be issued with each for $1. Users can buy one or a few of them. after a user purchases a raffle ticket, a email with a image which includes the unique serial number such as shown in the Attach Serial document will send to the use. at last, when the 50 ticket are all sold out, the system will get the winner serial number randomly and automatically.

First of all, I followed the introduction e-tickets Tutorial and the Attach Serial in the documents. however, the user could not receive any emails with the ticket image. and the remaining quantity of the tickets did not minusthe number of sales. I don't know which part I did wrong. Could you make a tutorial of this raffle for me detailedly

Secondly, the layout of user control panel page gets stranger as show in the image.

I did remember it works well long time ago ( with hikashop 2.5.0, Hikamarket 1.6.5). how to fix it?

Thank you very much!
Regards,
Kunzhou

Hi,

Please provide the configuration of your pack in order to understand what you have set.

There is currently no tutorial for raffles because there is no specific plugin or setting for that feature.
The "e-ticket" tutorial talk about points related to the usage of e-ticket (the consumption page), otherwise the tutorial "getting stared" is very generic and is a good start.
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/2...serial-tutorial.html

Otherwise your idea for the selection of the "winner" raffle is interesting.
Currently, users are performing the selection "manually". They are exporting the serials in order to select the winner afterwards.
That selection could be related to a date or at the expiration of the stock (like in your case). That's why there is for the moment no plugin to perform that selection. But I could see to have something no automatic. I'll think about it !

About the HikaShop control panel, I think it is related to some CSS.
Please open a thread in the HikaShop section of that forum. It you can provide a link to your store it will help the support team to take a look.

Hi,

You need to use the setting "link product quantity".

About the attach serial image ; the best is to select a font which is compatible.
We provide few fonts in HikaSerial but they are not compatible with extended UTF8 characters.

Hi,

When you have a pack with a generator ; the pack quantity is considered as "unlimited" because you have a generator which can create has many serials as you want.
So you need to remove the pack generator so HikaSerial will count the number of available serials in your database.

Hi
I removed the pack generator from the pack setting

However, the quantity of product become to 0, and can not be changed.
I think it may cause by none of pre-generated serials in the SQL data. If I was right, how to pre-generate serials in the SQL data with some random generator?

Thank you~

I think I understand how to pre-generate serials in the SQL data now.

If this process has written in the documents, the user experience will be better

Hi,

You're right, regarding statistics of your previous screenshot, you had 13 serials and these 13 serials are all used.
So, because you do not have any "free to use" serial the quantity of available serials is 0.

What by re-set temporally the generator you can then use the button "Generate"in the toolbar.
There you will be able to use the generator to create serials in your database.
Then you will be able to remove the generator in the pack configuration and the product quantity will be better.

In the "pack edition" documentation we have a small part which talk about the generation.
But I'll see to talk about it in other parts of the documentation
