Download generated PDF in download area

Hello,

I have setup PDfserial and that works fine! The client gets the PDF attached to the email. Now I want also the client give the possiblity to download the tickets in the download area. I have setup in PDF parameters 'add as download' to yes. Unfortunately this is not enough because it is not working. How can set this up?

Hello,

Once you have the "attach as download" setting, you will get some text;
That text ( #hikaserial:pdfserial:1 ... ) should be use in the product ; you need to create a product file but instead of uploading a file or providing an URL, you put the special content.
And it will create a dynamic downloadable file for the product.

I am getting about the text ( #hikaserial:pdfserial:1 ... ). But I am not getting how I can create a product file ?

if possible then please provide us step by step procedure for having the dynamic link for downloading PDF file in the email. I need to put that link in my custom but which is in my email design

Hello,

In your HikaShop product ; create a new file (with the "+" icon).
Then you need to select the "URL" mode and not the "Upload" mode.
Instead of an URL ; you must paste the content provided by the PDF plugin.

Hello,

HikaShop product files are are handle by HikaShop (and not HikaSerial).
Download links are added by HikaShop in its emails when the order is confirmed (and allow the download), etc.
Please note that you can test and access freely the download in the order backend ; it will allow you to see the result of your PDF configuration.
Afterwards, for more details about HikaShop product files and customization of email ; please create a new thread in the HikaShop section of the forum.
