HikaSerial / HikaSubscription 2.2.0 is available !

The new release of HikaSerial/HikaSubscription is now available

That new version provide some minor fixes for HikaSerial in general but it mostly add new features for HikaSubscription.
That version requires the latest HikaShop version (3.5.0) in order to work properly.

Improvements in the 2.2.x version:

• Subscription upgrades
• Integration with HikaShop regular carts
• Optional recurring

Full change log

The upgrades allows your customer to buy a product to change their subscription to another plan.
Since the upgrade do not interact with the recurring, we recommend to not use the upgrades in the same time than recurring payment. We will collect feedback regarding that part to improve the support in the next releases.

The other new feature is the full integration with HikaShop carts. In previous version, HikaSubscription had its own carts which allows to store the special content when performing a renewal (to know which subscription need to be renew).
Thanks to some modifications in the HikaShop core ; HikaSubscription 2.2 can not use regular carts !
Your customer would now be able to buy regular products, renewal and upgrades in the same time.
