-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.4
-- HikaSerial version -- : 1.10.4
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5

This is what the customer wants to be changed in the email below. How can I use the custom fields from the order to write the email with the changes they requested below? Basically how can I call the custom fields from the product into the Serial: Mail to custom field email being sent to the customer.

Instead of "Hi {Email}” please change to “Hi {Recipient’s Name}"
Change “joshua wilkinson sent you a gift card from www.autobell.com ” to “{Personal Message}”
Change “Sincerely Autobell Car Wash” to “From: {sender’s name}”

I have also attached a copy of the email being sent to the customer from the serial mail to custom field as well of a picture of the product with the custom fields for that product for reference.

Thanks,

Josh

Hi,

Please post in the correct section for your questions.
Also, could you provide your version of HikaSerial ?

Hi, sorry I was very busy at work when I posted this in the wrong category accidentally. I am using hikaserial version 1.10.4 the latest version. Also, I noticed for some reason the editor in this forum kept double posting some of the stuff I was typing to you and I am not sure why. Let me know if you need anything else from me.

Hello,

The forum is using tags and because you put content which looks like tags, it was seen and processed as tags (and the result is a wrong display of your message). I edited your message to replace the "[" by "{".

About the mail customization, thanks to HikaShop Business you can edit the mail content.
You will find the "mailtocustomfield" message which is used by the special plugin.
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/3...iltocustomfield.html

By default the email is simple but you can extend it and use other elements from the order (and the order custom fields).
So, instead of having just a field for the recipient email, you can also have a field for the recipient name.
You will find some details about the mail customization in that forum thread, the request is similar to yours :

Let us know if you have any further question.
