Product Bundles & HikaSerial

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.0.1
-- HikaSerial version -- : 1.10.4
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5
-- PHP version -- : 5.6

Hi there,

I'm trying to use the new product bundles feature in Hikashop 3 together with HikaSerial products.

Here's the scenario:
- Product A is setup to generate 1 serial from Serial Pack A
- Product B is setup to generate 1 serial from Serial Pack B
- Product C is setup to generate 1 serial from Serial Pack C

Then I setup Product D which is a bundle that includes 1 x Product A, 1 x Product B and 1 x Product C.

When product D is sold (order confirmed) no serials are being generated and linked to the order.

Do you get the same result? What can be done?

Hello,

HikaSerial 1.10.4 does not handle bundles.
It is something that we are working on (with other feature) for the next release.

So, for now I would recommend you to also assign packs to the product with bundles (until the next HikaSerial release).

Hello,

Right now the developments around HikaSerial were oriented on big improvements and big modifications in order to release a 2.0.0 version (for example implementation of a "attach PDF" plugin)
For sure I prefer to finish and publish that release as soon as possible :)

Hello,

I'm still working on HikaSerial 2.0.0 and more precisely on Hika(Serial)Subscription.
And during the week end, I got a working renewal for HikaSubscription ; which allow me to go to the next step of the development.
So I still need to work on the main "subscriber" plugin but I think that just after that, I would be able to publish a beta version of HikaSubscription ; and to release HikaSerial 2.0.0 in the same time.
