-- HikaShop version -- : 2.7.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.8
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.45

after go though the demo and documentation still lost on how this should be done by using hikaserial

Original idea like this
1.) User purchase a product (cafe meal coupon)
2.) A QR code is genarated and send to user/ download (not sure which is applicable)
3.) Cafe owner scan the QR code and the coupon will be marked as used and can not redeemed again
4.) Hikaserial owner able to list which product have higher serial consumed and know how much to pay back to cafe owner

Hi,

The demo website show a sample of configuration for HikaSerial ; it also allow you to perform some tests and try different configuration on your own.
About the documentation, the tutorial on "e-tickets" will be the most appropriate
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/2...ticket-tutorial.html

2/ The QRCode is generated thanks to the plugin "attach serial".
It can include the image in the email and it also support the dynamic download.

3/ It is possible. You can see the tutorial for more details on that part.

4/ In the HikaSerial backend you can list the serials and use some filters (to select a pack and a serial status).
But there is no time filter.
That's why I think that part should require some custom dev/plugin ; it can use the event when a serial is consume.

We have finally managed to "attached serial" in the order notification email

however, the genarated QRcode seem like not responding to QR code scanner, is there anywhere to verify the QRcode can work ? (we have tried neoreader qr code scanner and wechat built in qr code scanner)

And also, is it possible to let customer reprint the ticket in order history? (some hotmail and gmail user may not receive this kind of email)

Hi,

If you want to let the customer re-download the attach serial ; best is to add it as product file attachment.
So the customer will have a file download with his order and will be able to download the QRcode.

About the QRCode ; I'm quite sure that the encoding is working perfectly but you need to embed some correct content if you want to have some "effects" with a QRCode scanner.
Like putting an URL.

Dear Jerome

Thanks for answering, we have found out that when the QR code size larger than 4, it will become unreadable by QR code scanner

after we change it back to 2 it works

any documentation to do the file download attached serial ?

Hi,

See "attach as download" setting.
You will also find the "file path" that you should add in your products in order to add that "virtual download file".

Hi,

When you activate the "attach as download", you can see just below the data that you should use when you configure your product.

Just add a file and use "specify file location" in order to put the special content and create that virtual download file.
