How to allow only a vendor user to consume?

i have below questions about consume setup

You will have to choose one (or several) joomla group, the users in this group would be able to consume the e-tickets for the validation.

=> I want only admin group users and vendor sub user who owns the serial can consume. The vendor sub user can only validate and consume after login, and can do nothing else. Users within the same group can only consume the serial they own and sell. How to setup this?

if selected group filter: vendors, and the vendors group has many users. will all the users in the vendor group can consume a serial? or only the user who own the product can consume the serial?

If you want to just allow the owner of the serial ; you have to let HikaSerial assign the user to the serial.
Otherwise, "anybody" will be able to consume the serial. That's why the plugin "group filter" is there to filter and just allow accounts in specific groups to perform that task.

I don't understand how to setup this. Admin creates a serial random pack to be used by products from different vendors. how to assign each vendor user to their own serials?

The best is to have all your vendors in the same Joomla group.
Using the "vendor registration" with "automatic creation" can allow you to pick a specific group and will assure you that all yours vendors will have the same (if you need that kind of structure).

The plugin "group filter" has been design to allow groups of users to perform the consume.
In your case, a vendor would be able to consume the serial of another vendor but it should not see it.
Otherwise, it would require a specific plugin like a "vendor filter" to not filter on Joomla user group but on the assigned vendor (the vendor related to the product which is linked with the serial).

this is a hole, and hope you can have a better way handling this use case in the future release.

The customer will only provide serials to the right vendor.
If there is an order for the vendor A, the customer will show that serial to the vendor A and not to the vendor B.
That's why I don't see an issue even if the addition of a "vendor filter" plugin would be interesting.
