Buying a voucher with a voucher?

Hello,
I have a client website that sells physical products as well as a voucher to book an in person face to face training courses. A customer purchases the voucher and then can redeem this for the training course.

The website also sells gift vouchers that can be purchased and used to buy the physical products on the website.

However we now have a customer who has been given a gift voucher that is trying to use it to discount the purchase of the virtual training voucher.

It appears HikaSerial / HikaShop you cannot use one voucher as part payment for another voucher? Is this correct?

How can I configure the extensions so one voucher can be used to purchase / discount the price of another voucher?

Hello,

You have to create another pack and use the "coupon generator" instead of the "random generator".
Thus, instead of just creating a random serial (which can be used with the "Product Add" plugin) ; you can create an HikaShop coupon, a copy of a pre-configured coupon, with the discount and restrictions that you want (x% on a specific product).

The serial won't have any "usage" in HikaSerial but the HikaShop coupon, with the same content as the serial, would be useful during the HikaShop checkout process.
